David P. Tojo, MD, FACS

David P. Tojo, MD., a Cincinnati native, is the founder of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center.  He attended college at Northwestern University and medical school at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he was selected to membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  He completed internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and affiliated hospitals (Children’s Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital, West Side VA Medical Center and Michael Reese Hospital).  He pursued additional post-graduate training at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.  Between 1992 and 2000, Dr. Tojo served as a clinical instructor in head and neck surgery in the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Department of Otolaryngology.  He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 1992 where he has assumed numerous leadership positions.  Dr. Tojo has been selected as one of Chicago area’s “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly Medical Guide and North Shore Magazine.

Dr. Tojo practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in the management of hearing loss and tinnitus, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, nasal and sinus issues, and surgery for skin cancer of the face, head, and neck.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the American Thyroid Association.
