Ear Infections/Earaches
Ear infections are common and can range from mild to severe. Symptoms include ear pain, hearing loss, and drainage from the ear. Children are especially prone to ear infections. If you have an ear infection or an earache, call for a same day visit.

Tonsillitis/Throat Pain
The most common cause of throat pain is a viral infection such as a common cold. Tonsillitis and strep throat are also common causes. Other sources of throat pain include acid reflux, dry throat, post-nasal drip, and bacterial infections. If you have a sore throat or tonsillitis, please call for a same day visit.

Ear Wax/Ear Cleaning
Ear wax serves as a self-cleaning agent and is healthy in normal amounts. Sometimes excessive earwax accumulates and affects hearing. If you are having problems with earwax, call our office to make a same day appointment.

Nosebleeds
The most common cause of nosebleeds is dryness, which can cause blood vessels in the nose to break. Other common causes include vigorous nose blowing, allergies, infections, and picking at the nose. Occasionally, there can be a more serious cause such as a tumor or bleeding condition. Most nosebleeds stop when you apply pressure. If you have a nosebleed that persists, please call for a same day appointment.

Sudden Hearing Loss
Sudden hearing loss is often caused by a viral infection. Early treatment is important to optimize the chance for full recovery. If you experience sudden loss of hearing, please call for a same day appointment.
