David P. Tojo, MD, FACS

David P. Tojo, MD., a Cincinnati native, is the founder of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center.  He attended college at Northwestern University and medical school at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he was selected to membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  He completed internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and affiliated hospitals (Children’s Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital, West Side VA Medical Center and Michael Reese Hospital).  He pursued additional post-graduate training at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.  Between 1992 and 2000, Dr. Tojo served as a clinical instructor in head and neck surgery in the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Department of Otolaryngology.  He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 1992 where he has assumed numerous leadership positions.  Dr. Tojo has been selected as one of Chicago area’s “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly Medical Guide and North Shore Magazine.

Dr. Tojo practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in the management of hearing loss and tinnitus, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, nasal and sinus issues, and surgery for skin cancer of the face, head, and neck.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the American Thyroid Association


Alexander D. Goldin, MD

Alexander D. Goldin, MD., a Chicagoland native, joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2002.  He attended college and medical school at Emory University where he was selected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  He completed the Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and affiliated hospitals (Children’s Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital and Michael Reese Hospital).  He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 2002.

Dr. Goldin practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.


Michael K. Layland, MD

Michael K. Layland, MD., was raised in the Chicago suburbs and joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2004.  He attended college at Duke University and attended medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago where he was selected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  He completed the Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis.  He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 2004.

Dr. Layland practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in medical and minimally invasive surgical treatment of sinus disease, treatment of tumors of the head and neck, salivary gland and thyroid gland diseases, hearing disorders and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.


Sanjeev Balamohan, MD

Sanjeev Balamohan, MD., was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2018. He attended college and medical school at Indiana University where he was selected to membership in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida. He joined the staff of Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in 2018.

Dr. Balamohan practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in surgical and medical treatment of sinus disease, treatment of head and neck tumors, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, treatment of voice disorders, treatment of allergies, and hearing disorders.

Dr. Balamohan is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.


Hamad Chaudhary, MD

Hamad Chaudhary, MD., was raised in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. He joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2019. He attended college at Georgetown University and medical school at Chicago Medical School where he graduated with honors. He completed Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Before joining ENT Center, Dr. Chaudhary pursued further post-graduate education through a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and he worked as a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Dr. Chaudhary enjoys medical mission work and has traveled to Kenya and Peru for medical mission trips.

Dr. Chaudhary practices all aspects of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in head and neck surgical oncology, minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, sinus surgery and robotic surgery.

He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Thyroid Association, the American Head and Neck Society, the American College of Surgeons, and the Triological Society.


Audiologists

Sarah E. Borer, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Sarah Borer was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences at Ohio University. She received her Doctorate in Audiology at Central Michigan University. She completed her residency at Dayton Ohio VA Medical Center.

Dr. Borer is a strong advocate of continuing education in her profession in order to stay current on available technologies and therapies that will benefit her patients. She has interest in several areas of research. Some of her work has been published in the journal of Noise and Health.

Dr. Borer joined the staff at ENT Center in 2007 and has expertise in adult diagnostics, amplification, bone-anchored implants (BAI) and hearing protection. Her broad clinical background allows her to provide a wide range of solutions for her patients. She is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology.


Melanie Ludolph, Au.D.

Dr. Melanie Ludolph was raised in Morton Grove, Illinois.  She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Audiology at Western Illinois University.  She completed her Doctorate in Audiology at Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology.

Dr. Ludolph joined the staff at ENT Center in 2001.  She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with hearing loss.


Marybeth Morris, Au.D.

Dr. Marybeth Morris completed her Bachelor of Science at Kent State University in Kent, OH and received her Doctorate in Audiology from Rush University in Chicago, IL. She fulfilled her externship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Head and Neck Institute in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Morris joined the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in 2016. She is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology. Her areas of expertise include adult and pediatric diagnostics, amplification, bone anchored implants (BAI) and hearing conservation.

 


Kelly Warf, Au.D.

Dr. Kelly Warf obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She attained her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from Rush University and fulfilled her externship at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences. Dr. Warf is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Dr. Warf was first introduced to the field of Audiology when her brother was diagnosed with central auditory processing disorder. Her personal experience has shaped her motivation in the clinic to help patients communicate and connect with their loved ones.
